Megakaryocytes showed multiple lobules in their nuclei and exhibited increased number, varied sizes, and were slightly dysmorphic. Stromal degeneration, along with histiocytes with hemosiderin deposits and thrombocytosis were also visible. Approximately 10% of the cells were plasmocytes.
