Typically developing children were significantly (p<0.05) taller (134.4cm [13.5] vs 121.4cm [19.2]) and heavier (32.7kg [10.7] vs 25.5kg [110]) than those with hemi/diplegia (Table 3). They also had longer legs (31.0cm [3.9] vs 26.9cm [5.7])) and smaller resting ankle joint angles (25 ° [6] vs 38° [7]).
