For the right hip, the ARVV1 neck can provide 4° of varus and 6° of anteversion (Ante-varus) (A), but also 4° of valgus and 6° of retroversion (Retro-valgus) if implanted reversed (B). If the ARVV2 neck is used instead, the possible orientations are 4° of varus and 6° of retroversion (Retro-varus) (C) and 4° of valgus and 6° of anteversion (Ante-valgus) (D). The same applies vice versa for the left hip.
