Fig. (3) 12% of patients developed a prolonged wound healing. Severe complication with revision of the wound took place in 4% of cases. One patient had to be revised because of a luxation of the head on the basis of a dysplasia. The BHH was replaced in a total hip arthroplasty over an mDAA. The lesion of the femoral nerve recovered in about 6 months, but the patient remained dependent on a wheelchair for mobility. A DAA typical complication (Meralgia paraesthesia, perforation of the shaft, fracture of the greater trochanter) did not occur in any of the 180 patients.
