Dr. Arash Abbasina has a B.Sc. in Ocean Engineering from Persian Gulf University, Iran, M.Sc. in offshore Structures Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), Iran and he fulfilled PhD degree of Ocean Engineering from AUT in 2013. Dr. Arash had been awarded Post Doc. Scholarship in Instituto Superior Tecnico (IST), Portugal in 2014. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Petroleum University of Technology, Iran in 2015. His research background has been focused on Computational Hydromechanics to Model Marine Structure in Ocean environments.

A.S. Guimarães (Biography
A.S. Guimarães

Dr. Guimarães is an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto – FEUP, since 2008. She is a Member of the “Ordem dos Engenheiros” - Portugal. Her main research interest includes Building Physics, Rising Damp, Building Pathology and Building Rehabilitation. She received her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering in 2011 and is a Civil Engineering mobility coordinator at FEUP. She is an author of a national and an international patent as well as several books, book chapters and papers which are published in international refereed journals. She is a Co-organizer of 3 editions of the Conference on Building Pathology and Rehabilitation –PATORREB. She has received more than 10 awards in pedagogical and scientific fields and is also a collaborator of several research projects and professional works.

Z. Huang (Biography
Z. Huang

Dr. Zhenyu HUANG is currently serving as a Research Associate Professor working in the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Shenzhen University, P.R.China. He obtained his PhD from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2015. His main research focuses on steel and concrete composite materials and structures with applications to high rise and large span structural systems covering offshore and building sectors. He has published more than 40 papers in International journals and conference papers, and at present, he holds 16 Chinese patents. He has served as Editor Member of two International Journals and has served as the reviewers for 21 peer reviewed International SCI journals.

K. Kalita

Dr. Kanak Kalita is currently associated with Veltech university as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department. He has over 6 years of teaching, research and industrial experience. Prior to his current assignment, he served as senior software engineer at VJ Coresoft Pvt. Ltd., Pune, India, where he was involved in developing and testing optimization algorithms for industrial use. I completed my PhD on the topic "Design of Composite Laminates with Nature-Inspired Optimization" from the department of Aerospace Engineering and Applied Mechanics at Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology, Shibpur, India, in 2019. His primary research interests lie in the broad area of computational mechanics and soft-computing. He has 56 publications in national and international journals. He is an Editorial Board Member of Int. J. of Scientific and Eng. Research (IJSER) and is a Reviewer of SCI journals like IEEE Access, Materials Science, Advances in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering and Mechanics | Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology, Latin American Journal of solids and Structures.

P. Samui

Pijush Samui is working as an associate professor in civil engineering department at NIT Patna, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering (2008) from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He was a postdoctoral fellow at University of Pittsburgh (USA) (2008-2009) and Tampere University of Technology (Finland) (2009- 2010). Dr. Pijush is the recipient of the prestigious CIMO fellowship (2009) from Finland, for his integrated research on the design of railway embankment. He was awarded Shamsher Prakash Research Award (2011) by IIT Roorkee for his innovative research on the application of Artificial Intelligence in designing civil engineering structure. He has published more than 100 journal papers in international journal.

W.S. Alaloul

Dr Alaloul research interests are in construction management, construction materials, structures decommissioning, drones’ applications, pre-cast systems, and lifecycle cost assessment. Also, he is a certified trainer for construction costing and sustainability issues. Dr Alaloul has published more than 50 papers in several ISI/Scopes journals and international conferences. Dr Alaloul is a member of several evaluation committees for project proposals. He participated as a member of the steering committee in the sustainable urban planning of smart cities. Dr Alaloul is practising Output-Based Education (OBE) for more than 8 years, he was trained for active learning approach and complex engineering problems.

M. D'Amato (Biography
M. D'Amato

Dr. M. D’Amato graduated in Civil Engineering and then obtained a PhD in “Mathematic Methods and Models for Dynamic Systems”. Currently he is a researcher in structural engineering at the University of Basilicata (Matera, Italy), Department of European and Mediterranean Cultures: Architecture, Environment, Cultural Heritage (DICEM), teaching in the Faculty of Architecture. He participates on different research projects focused on seismic protection of existing and historical constructions, and actually he is the coordinator of Euro- Latin America Partnership in Natural Risk Mitigation and Protection of the Cultural Heritage (ELARCH, www.elarch.org) - a scientific project funded by European Commission and focused on the protection of cultural heritage in European and Latin American countries. Dr. D’Amato lectured at different national and international conferences and served as a reviewer of many international scientific journals involving structural engineering.

Dr. Abbas Heydari is currently a Technical Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at the Technical and Vocational University (TVU), Ardabil branch, Iran. He earned his MSc from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran, and his PhD in Civil Engineering from University of Tabriz, Iran. His current research interests include study on size-dependent analysis, material gradation, buckling and damped vibration, plastic propagation and shear deformation theories. Dr. Heydari has authored and co-authored various books and has published many papers for national and international journals.

Dr. Ramadhansyah Putra Jaya obtained his Ph.D. Eng. degree (in 2011) in Concrete Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, George Town, Malaysia. K. Roy

Dr Roy has recently completed his PhD in Civil Engineering department, specialized in Structural Engineering from The University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr Roy works in the areas of structural steel, composite structures, cold-formed steel structures, concrete materials, sustainability management, 3D printing and other areas of structural engineering. To-date, Dr Roy has published more than 40 international journal articles, and more than 15 international conference papers. Currently, he is leading the research and development department of Kiwi Steel Holdings New Zealand Limited, and conducting research works in the area of cold-formed steel structures in the University of Auckland with A/Prof. James Lim.
